This course will allow you to simulate groundwater flow networks, study their behavior and draw up a water balance of these waters on a very limited model.

Course Requirements:

• Be a hydrogeologist by training or working in this field
• Speak good French or English

Expected Outcome:

At the end of this course, the learner is expected to gain:

• Knowledge of the field data to be collected for the construction of a hydrogeological model
• Knowledge on the creation of 3-dimensional hydrogeological conceptual model
• Knowledge in the insertion of hydrogeological properties into the model
• Knowledge in converting the conceptual model into a numerical model and determining the water balance of the mine with Leapfrog hydro or Visual Modflow flex or Feflow software
